I hated it because it felt like I was betraying the trust of my subscribers and failing as a business owner.

I had goals, dreams and aspirations...I wanted more out of life... ...and struggling with a dying email list and dwindling revenue wasn't going to work.

So I did what everyone else out there does in this situation. I started looking for a way out. I looked everywhere and a a few months later I found it.

I stumbled upon a forum where a group of guys and gals were talking about how they were "Email Alchemists" turning their subscriber lists into gold mines of engaged fans and consistent revenue.

And they did it doing the exact opposite of what all the other email "gurus" at the time were preaching which was to "mail everyday".

This was a cool concept to me, and as I researched more and more I found that most of them were just like me.

They also started with small lists and struggled with engagement and sales at first.

The only difference was they had cracked the code on building genuine connections with their subscribers, leading to explosive growth in both list size and revenue per subscriber...

And a BIG reason was because of how they built what Eugene Schwartz (the godfather of marketing) calls "Awareness" - which is simply getting the subscriber to better understand the problems they're facing, existing solutions to these problems, and products on the market that solve their problems.

By actively building awareness with your automations you don't have to email your list everyday and beg them for sales which eventually burns out your list!
